Soraya

One-of-a-kind lighting object

Named after Soraya, the Pleiades, this sculptural light began with a 3.2-metre piece of driftwood, found along the shore after a storm and carried back to the studio. A constellation of reclaimed glass wine carafes rests upon the weathered wood, transformed into luminous forms. Each vessel holds a quiet glow, evoking stars gathered across a fragment of the sea. SORAYA is a meeting of nature, memory, and light — an earthly constellation shaped by hand.
